E P I S O D E S E V E N
After a hug from Han Kyul and Eun Chan (I love the OST!), you would think that Han Kyul would have a softer expression.
But he pulls away quickly, with Eun Chan baffled. And you can clearly see that Han Kyul is lying when he says it's nothing.
The pair both can't think straight, with adrenaline pumping through their systems.
The situation seems awkward between Eun Chan and Han Kyul at the coffee shop the next day.
(I love Min Yeop, his personality is adorable in his big body!
It also seems as DK is returning to Seoul, and sometimes it makes you wonder how Yoo Joo can so happily speak with her ex-boyfriend.)
Han Kyul takes Eun Chan to a bookstore.
I was so surprised by his humanity and how nice he was to Eun Chan!
He bought the coffee-related books for her because she wanted to become a barista (coffee-maker thing?).
Eun Chan is deeply touched and happy. But when Han Sung calls she happily runs away to a phone booth to enjoy her time alone with Han Sung.
Han Kyul seems jealous as his expression has changed and asks who it is.
And she says that she won't tell him. He asks again, and she tells him that it's Han Sung, and he turns away annoyed. Han Sung tells her he'll call back later
because it's inconvenient for her to be on the phone while being out. But Eun Chan insists that it is okay.
But eventually he hangs up when he finds out that she is with Han Kyul. Han Kyul seems a bit angry and leaves the books for her to carry by herself.
Eun Chan and Han Kyul now are on the subway. Han Kyul and Eun Chan talk and hit playfully on the subway (they look like a couple! how cute).
Suddenly everyone pushes to the the end and Han Kyul is now pressed against Eun Chan. Eun Chan's toy from Han Kyul breaks and she's disapponted.
But then she tells him to bend his arm forward so it's as if he's surrounding her. She now quietly laughs to herself (adorable!).
As Han Kyul returns home, he keeps looking at Eun Chan's picture. instead of doing his work.
Then he feels awkward as he still believes Eun Chan as a guy, and has confirmed his own feelings.
He also feels jealous towards Han Sung and Eun Chan's relationship. He is determined to only have an boss-employee relationship with her.
The next day, he rewards everyone with a lego toy but her. At first she thinks that he just wants to give it to her personally, as she doesn't have one in her closet.
She feels bad as Han Kyul says that it's the same as everyone else's.
I love the scenes at the coffee shop! Later Han Kyul has another chat with Eun Chan, ending off with Eun Chan calling him a narcissist.
He quietly swears to himself for his mistakes.
The gang then goes to Eun Chan's home for Eun Chan's passed away's father's anniversary.
Sun Ki gives a demonstration of how a real chef makes eggs (haha).
Eun Sae is deeply impressed and fangirls by herself. Min Yeop is clearly jealous and tries to do it himself.
Min Yeop can do it and he's extremely proud of himself. But looks back and sees that EUn Sae is just flirting with Sun Ki and is a bit dejected (aww!).
Eun Chan is later extremely happy, as Han Kyul has proved his sincerity with all the toy souvenirs he's given her.
She calls him to tease him on why he's being so nice to her. Han Kyul doesn't know what to say and hangs up brusquely. She seems sad again, but she can feel that he likes her! (platonically or not... O_O).
Once again, EUN CHAN IS THE CUTEST THING EVER! (kekeke).
The next day Eun Chan repays his gratitude by bringing him food! Han Kyul is out jogging and so she goes to find him. He didn't want to tell her where she is, but
he tells her anyways. Then he scolds himself for being crazy. Han Kyul is such a bum and calls Yoo Joo out. He ruined the whole mood as Yoo Joo brought food and he doesn't eat Eun Chan's food.
Eun Chan tries to hide her disappointment. He flirts with Yoo Joo endlessly, and Eun Chan looks hurt. (awwie) Eun Chan and Han Kyul fight, but for once Han Kyul is showing a soft side.
He made a really sweet touching speech! But Eun Chan comes back, not feeling his praise. She jokes sarcastically about his "bad habit" (Yoo Joo), and runs away after.
We then find about a bit about Sun Ki's past. Apparantly, he was with a woman (Hee Sun) for 3 years, she had a baby. But, somehow they broke up.
It seems as if Sun Ki was a pretty isolate person but is willing to do anything for her as long as she stays by his side. It was actually quite funny when you see Min Yeop crying to the side by himself.
His heart is bigger than him!
The scene where Han Kyul and Eun Chan really faught was extremely upsetting. (TEARS TEARS TEARS). Eun Chan quits from the coffee shop.
You have to feel a lot of sympathy for Eun Chan here (or at least I do) because it really is quite upsetting when Han Kyul's intentions were different than I expected.
Eun Chan takes it as if he sees her poverty as a joke, and she calls him arrogant. Han Sung knows something is wrong and offers to take her out on a drive to brighten her mood.
Han Kyul has his share of sadness as he reminisces about the memories between him and Eun Chan.
The next day everyone at the cafe is feeling down, especially Ha Rim. And they all want to see Eun Chan.
Eun Chan is in bed by herself, rolled up in her blanket. After a short mistake phone call between Eun Chan and Han Kyul, she goes to visit Han Sung at his music studio.
The scenes between them are always fun and cute. But afterwards, Eun Chan tells the painful truth, she believes she has no talent, and is pretty much useless.
She is disappointed that people she cared about would talk about her in such a way.
For the first time, I'm thankful for Yoo Joo's existence, though it might be out of selfish intentions. But it makes Han Kyul call Eun Chan out.
They seem happy together, as they've obviously been missing each other's prescence. Han Kyul is so cute as he smiles to himself like a kid, and Eun Chan eats like a pig.
Then you see a drunk Eun Chan and Han Kyul singing on the street. This was the cutest reconciliation I've ever seen.
Han Kyul tries to clear up the misunderstanding between him and Eun Chan, and said that he really was praising him when he talked about Eun Chan's life.
Eun Chan is moved this time, and tears fall down her face (she's such a girl hehe). Han Kyul asks her to hit him, and she does, giving him a bloody nose. (haha).
Everyone is happy to see Eun Chan back at the cafe (Sun Ki is a good guy now yay).
It's a happy day, Eun Chan is even thinking of ways to ask Han Kyul out, but he rushes out of the cafe, and she wonders why when Han Rim tells her that Han Kyul's grandmother has collapsed.
She's worried and goes to visit him at his home. He tells her that he's disappointed in himself, not knowing what he has done with the thirty years in his life.
In order to try to make him feel better, Eun Chan goes over and kisses him. At first Han Kyul is surprised, but gives in.
AH! I loved the ending. Another great episode, Coffee Prince will not disappoint you.
